Don
Johnson, CHA - Vice President, oversees the
daily operations of properties. Mr. Johnson has
many years of experience in hotel operations.
Don brings a strong work ethic and value drive
approach to the hotels within the portfolio. A
constant concern for our owners assets and profits
and a focused approach for guest satisfaction
are core values that he defines as unwavering.
His extensive career within the industry has included
executive management positions with major flags
such as Hampton Inn, Holiday Inn Express, Staybridge
Suites, Choice Hotels, Best Inns & Suites,
and Best Western. Mr. Johnson holds a BS in Management
and earned his CHA designation in 1999. Don began
his association with Mike Monchino in 1993.
Harold
Smith - Smith Hospitality Financial. Over
twenty years of successful experience in hospitality
accounting. Mr. Smith brings a wealth of experience
with a background in all facets of hospitality
accounting. Past positions include controller
of the largest downtown convention center hotel
in Cincinnati, Senior Regional Controller for
Sage Hospitality and Vice President of Finance
for America's Best Inns, Inc. Accounting is a
key element in support to the property managers
and senior management. Harold fully understands
that it is not the numbers that makes a hotel
successful, rather it is how the numbers are achieved.
Mr. Smith holds a BBA in accounting and has received
a distinguished accounting award for excellence.
Harold began his association with Mike Monchino
in 1990.
Cheryl
Price - District Manager - Field Operations.
More than fifteen years of successful experience
in many areas of hotel operations. Hotel experience
includes - property manager of hotels both small
and large, corporate quality control inspector,
and district operations management. Ms. Price
has vast experience in opening new hotel properties
and early in her career was a trouble-shooter
for marginal operating hotels. Cheryl began her
association with Mike Monchino in 1993.
John
Voyles - District Manager - Field Operations.
More than twenty years of successful experience
in all areas of hotel operations. Experience includes
management in limited and full-service hotel operations
with property size ranging from 70 to 425 rooms
as well as Food and Beverage Operations. Mr. Voyles
has received numerous awards including "Hotel
of the Year" and "New Comer of the Year".

in 1995.
